Just like Hood River, this hotel is a perfect nook away from the hustle and bustle. With just 7 rooms, each one is cleverly decorated and named for local adventure attractions. Most notable is the cleanliness of the room (not to mention the stunning view!) and the details, it is all in the details! The bed is comfortable with lots of pillows and a down comforter. The bathrooms are clean and have great soaps. The windows have blackout shades and the room is air conditioned. Bring your bike and your pet, and walk up the road to some of the best restaurants and cafes (45 min drive to Mt. Hood). Stay and feel spoiled.

We stayed for 1 night in the Labyrinth room. It was very spacious, the beds super super comfortable, the room was very clean, and it had great views of the river. It had many details we loved like a description of how all the furniture was made, the coordinates of the location of famous trails on the door, and Dr. Bronner’s soap and lotion. It had a big screen TV with Netflix as well. The hotel has been remodeled and everything felt new. We would definitely stay here again.

Great design, location, and value in Hood River. Beautiful views of river from large picture windows. Stayed with family in Labyrinth room which has a king + bunk with full size beds. Perfect for us. Nice touches and natural finishes. Chain hotels will cost you 2x more for little to no added value and no views.

You cannot beat a better location in the Mt Hood area in terms of walkability to everything, nice accommodations, and affordability! The owner provides a comfortable bed - with soft linens and views that are breathtaking. He also provides you with some coffee coupons to a place that is super cool. The outside of your hotel will have places you can hang things if you’re doing any outdoor activity stuff. There’s also a hose I used to wash off my drysuit and river shoes. Free, easy parking. LOTS of places to get dinner nearby- with recommendations from the host. Just so you know: If you are paddling or doing something in Washington, there’s a toll for every time you cross the bridge ($3.70/car or something?). That’s on me for not doing my research. I would still probably stay here again b/c White Salmon and other small towns around that area, just don’t have the same level of options and commerce for dinner, etc.!!

Absolutely insane gem in Hood River - Perfect location - incredible price Stunning rooms I love the check in process- though it’s not your usual- Owner operated and actually a brilliant operation. My only reluctance in giving it high ratings is more people will know about it and it will always be full

We had a fantastic stay at The Adventure Lodge in Hood River! The service was amazing, the rooms were adorable and cozy, and the view of the Columbia River was breathtaking. I loved our large windows and wood accents in our room. The lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown which made date night after a long kite session super easy and enjoyable. We brought our dog along for our stay which was a huge bonus and there is a park across the street our dog absolutely loved. Highly recommend The Adventure Lodge for a memorable getaway!
